I was talking to the Gentleman selling buddy poppies at Shoprite the other day. He was such a nice person and really enjoyable to chat with. He was talking about Memorial Day festivities and the plans for this year. It is a very emotional time for theses folks and I am grateful, so very grateful that they are helping us to remember.
His brother has a tractor that he decorates with Red, White and Blue and takes to the festivities for Memorial Day. He then takes photos of the Veterans in front of the display.
I have to figure something out for our place. Just chatting with him gave me some inspiration. We shall have to see where this wild mind of mine takes this. It will be a neat challenge.
Working from home today has been very peaceful. Well, except for Gypsy deciding that all of the bees need to be barked at.
|Gypsy says, "I bark loud!" Yeah, I know.|
The lazy drone of the bees, the chirping of the birds, the soft gentle breeze playing across the new green leaves. What a lovely day.
These days fill me with gratitude.

My Sweet Potatoes are starting to show some vigor. The frost hit my Coleus, but I am not too worried as there are side shoots developing already.
